Reclaimed Thin Brick Veneer
Throughout time brick has been an easily accessible and much loved material. From historical and religious structures, to political structures and homes, brick is a globally relevant and authentic material. From the 1850’s to the 1920’s, brickmaking reached a peak in the US. What followed was a trend we see today – the mixing of old and new brick to create an authentic, reclaimed look and feel. Much loved for the character it adds to interior spaces, we scour the world to harvest brick and bring this recycled, beautiful material for your projects.
Curating Reclaimed Thin Brick Veneer
As different projects call for different colors, we search for regions that give us the colors we know our customers desire. For example, a newly popular color (that looks great in kitchens) is our Vicarage Grey. As gray clay is most readily found in the southwest region of China along the banks of the Yangtze River, Stone Farm has partnered with reclamation teams in that area to bring this new product to America.
What is Veneer?

New England Mill Blend, Baltimore Blend, Vicarage Gray Our core product in this category is our New England Mill Blend, and reclaimed for old textile mills, which consists of bricks mainly manufactured between 1890 and 1920 in the Northeast region. However, as designers and architects asked for different color blends and uses, we added bricks from different regions.
New England Mill Blend
Salvaged from old factories, mills, and schools around New England, this blend is an ideal accent material. The color is predominantly deep reds found in the Northeast - however, we mix in white tones and blackened “soot stained” pieces as a result of fire damage and natural weathering. Our New England Mill blend is an incredibly unique offering.
The city of Baltimore is currently using the deconstruction of its row houses as a means towards creating employment, reducing waste sent to landfills, and salvaging materials for reuse. The reuse allows us to offer you this exciting blend of reclaimed thin brick! This blend is a vibrant flavor of a historic look. The color range includes a mix of reds, blacks, natural clay tones and soft yellows.
Our new Vicarage Grey is a fresh, exciting brick option that offers a unique end result that designers have been asking for.
